We are team Fractal 4x4 of King Edward's School, Bath, and we have entered the Land Rover 4x4 In Schools Technology Challenge, where teams of 3-6 students must design, build and test scale 1:18 off road cars.
In January 2019, we competed at the South West regional finals in Exeter, and won both first place as well as the award for the best engineered vehicle. In March, we competed at the UK National Finals at the British Motor Museum, and won first place, best engineered vehicle (again!), as well as the award for the best portfolio.
This means we are on to the World Finals next year, along with The THS Panthers with whom we share first place.
